Been with Merchynt (Paige) for a few months now. It was presented to me when I was part of a small marketing community and I kept hesitating because of the $97 a month (per business). After hearing great things about it, I just sacrificed more on my end and made the $97 fit into my budget. I picked one of my friends as a "guinea pig". It started getting good results on the SEO side, where it first ranked 20+, then shot up to 5 or better. The issue i had from the start, though, is the VERY generic content. It's so obvious it's AI because it lumps keywords together (ie. 'If you're looking for a general contractor Reno Sparks....") and no one talks like that. So, i had to manually go into every single FB and Instagram post and edit it, so it doesn't look stupid. Plus, I fed it plenty of specific pics (specific niche), but it keeps posting content about something unrelated. It picks the wrong pics from my collection (same friend of mine, but different service that they offer). At one point, a Merchynt employee offered to give me an NFC card, which i accepted. More than two months passed and i never got it. At one point, the same employee apologized for forgetting/messing up and so he said he'd send them. He waived my monthly fee for that one month, and yes, that was nice. I finally got them, weeks after they were promised and guess what?? They didn't work! HA! In fact, the card took me to another business (I've never heard of). I immediately emailed their support and said that if the owner (Justin) didn't reply to me, I would cancel. Well, i got a reply, but it wasn't Justin....Josh H replied (Head of Support). He was super cool, apologized and gave me instructions to reprogram them. I wrote him back on April 29 (the delay was because my wife was in the hospital, so that was my priority) and he didn't reply. I was finally fed up and emailed him again on May 2. As of today, no reply. In that May 2nd email, i told him "i want out....I want to cancel my $97 per month service because i end up doing it myself manually anyway, might as well pay a VA for less to do better quality work. I'm a VERY fair guy and VERY patient, but, my $97 a month was perfectly fine and was billed on time, each month. No issues. Why can't this service be what it claims to be? Even if everything worked properly, the quality of the output is 100% not worth the $97. Yes, my friend's business ranked better, but what good is it if i have to continuously go in and correct what the AI did? Yes, I understand in this day and age, we have to go put our "human touch" on it...but this was way too much, and way too often. It's possible that Justin will see this, and i hope he does. I respect you and what you've done, very much. However, if i have issues, and i've voiced them privately to your team, and it doesn't get done, then a public FYI is what is needed. Besides the issues I've had, I still don't think $97 is a good value for what is offered. There are too many other tools out there (and many more being developed daily) that can do better work, for much less. I asked Josh to cancel my service and confirm via email. I am still waiting for that to happen. UPDATE: 5/6 - i have emailed Josh (Support) again today and I've yet to receive any reply (3rd email so far). I am asking for confirmation of my cancelled service. So far, no response to my email on April 29 or my May 2nd email. UPDATE 5/7 - no reply yet. I have just emailed them AGAIN. And of course, since it's billing time, silence on their end. UPDATE 5/7 (late in the day) - Josh replied and apologized for the delay (his reason was VERY valid & I have no problem with that). We agreed to get on a call to fix things. UPDATE 5/11 - Josh & I just got on a call. We were not able to fix the NFC card issue, but, they are going to send me new cards. We tweaked the settings on my Paige tool. Very knowledgeable, patient & very helpful. I am updating my review from 2 stars to 4.5 stars.
