UPDATED EDIT: I greatly appreciate the immediate attention my review received from Merchynt, and how much they wanted to make things right (although I don't need or expect anything other than just fixing the unsubscribe issue). I have emailed Justin as he advised in his reply, and I'm confident they'll handle the matter appropriately. Where I'm not even a customer (yet?) and they're taking good care of me, I gotta give them kudos. Faith in humanity = restored. Initial review: I am disappointed in this company's marketing practices. I expressed interest at one point, so they stuck me on a newsletter subscription - pretty standard. Their latest newsletter headline was purely a scare tactic to increase their open and read rates: "Your Google Business Profile Has Been Suspended". I manage GBP accounts for many clients. This was a terrifying message to see that made me drop everything to investigate. You were successful in getting me to take a look, but the end result was you just made me mad and interrupted much more pressing business. I went to unsubscribe and the link was dead, meaning their email is not compliant with the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003. So now I'm upset with them and I had no recourse other than to flag the email as Spam and leave them a 1-star review, hoping they take notice and address these issues.
